Executives can play at the world's top courses on indoor computer simulators. The posh six-story clubhouse is just a chip away from the Bank of England and the former site of the stock exchange. "When the pressure is too high in the office, I can relax here for 45 minutes," said Diego Wauters, who oversees derivatives at Coriolis Capital. "It's nice to meet people who share the same passions as you: golf and finance."
John Redford, vice chairman of Millnet Financial said that he uses the club once a week in an effort to lower his handicap and build relationships with potential customers. Still, while members "feel important", he said it was no substitute for playing on the open fairway."
